Wow, I've been working and writing way too much this winter and the blog has felt the effects. So sorry, but now.....It's almost here! Release day for Forbidden Empath at Cobblestone Press! Here's a little teaser for you.

He sat next to her on the sofa, his broad hand falling over hers on the soft fabric of the sofa. He was warm, and deep inside she felt the stirring of something primal. Joanna was not inexperienced with men. She did, however, keep her dalliances close to home. She’d slept with men who began as her close friends, never with a stranger and never as soon after meeting them as she wished of Micah. But, and there was always a but in these situations, this was not her life. Someone else belonged here with him and even though the very thought turned her enviously green inside, she knew this place, at the side of Micah Brittan, Senior Empath of the United Nations, was not hers. Maybe in another lifetime, another place, but right at this time, she wanted nothing more than her own home and her little town where she was comfortable.
She’d been staring at the back of his hand when his fingers curled under her palm. She sucked in her breath.
