Book shop find

In my hometown, there's an amazing little used bookstore near the mainstreet. It's cozy, small and floor to ceiling books as well as coffee and a couch. Just everything a bookstore should be. In general, I don't buy used books. I'd rather give my money to the author, however, I had a credit here as my mother takes all my old books in to them.

I picked out a few and let the kids each choose one. Rosamunde Pilcher, Judith McNaught, Charles De Lint. Okay, my reading choices can be called eclectic.

Anyway, when I arrived back at my mother's I opened the Charles De Lint book (modern fantasy), Forests of the Heart. It was a hardcover and an amazing price. I don't know how many of you out there will appreciate this, but the book is signed! Okay, not made out to me but signed none the less. I love signed books! Also inside was the author's bookmark and to top it all off, the book looks like it's never been read. I would never, ever give away one that had been signed for me. This one's a keeper.

Tell me about your best finds....(doesn't have to be a book).
